Stop the nonsense of One-Man-One-Wife; I can be second wife —Actress Nkiru Silvanus

Back in the days when men get married to three or four wives, there was enough peace in the land and ladies respect men as they should. These days, many lack respect but they want to be only wife.
One lady who has decided to stop deceiving herself is actress Nkiru Sylvanus. She knows that some girls who are saying they want their own man are even enjoying themselves with other women husbands.

“Let me put itthis way. Let me help you hit the nail on the head. One of the comments I have seen consistently, over and over again, is ‘Stella snatchessomebody’s husband’, ‘Stella the husband snatcher’, which is what has been going on. And I had sworn that I would never talk about it, or even listen or stress myself about this thing but I have decided to do this now, so that I end this once and for all.
First of all, let me paint a picture for you and you let me know what makes sense to you. When I looked up the word snatch or steal,let’s go to the dictionary. It means, forcefully taking something away from its original position. Forcefully. From its original position to another position. Something that does not belong to you. That’s what I gathered from the word snatch or steal.
So I looked at me, Stella, and I wondered to myself, how is it possible to go to somebody’s home, and take a man, and take his son, away from his home and say follow me. You are a man, and according to their story, he is happily married inside his home. With his family complete and I walk into that home, to forcefully take a man, abled bodied man, and a kid, away from somebody’s hand and you are there looking at me. How does that work?
Did they accuse me of using voodoo? Yes or no? They said no. Okay, did I put a gun on anybody’s head and remove somebody from somewhere? They said no. So logically, if people actually sit down and think about it intelligently, how do you snatch somebody from somebody and the person is there looking at you?
So when you see a man who has settled ties with a woman and decides to move on with his life and you feel that there is something in this man that you like and he likes you. I am not a kid. I am 36 years old. I am not about to start hiding myself. I was waiting for somebody to actually ask me this question, because all I have heard for the past two, three years are rumours. They said, blogs said, this said. Nobody has been bold enough to confront me and ask me. So I say, if I steal something from somebody, and the person is really the owner of the thing, you come and ask me, ‘you took something from me, give me back’
But nobody was able to that. And I am like, if I meet an able bodied man that has left and moved on. That is not even in the same house with whoever and is not doing anything with whoever, and both parties have decided this thing is not going anywhere, and they have gone their separate ways, why is it that it easier for the world to blame the woman that the man has decided to end up with?
Why is it that it is always that woman that scattered that home? The two people that did things that nobody was there, nobody said something must have happened between this two people but it is always somebody else that is the problem. And I always say, I do not tolerate blaming anybody for your own problems. I have had problems.
After my late husband’s death, I got married again and the marriage didn’t work. After eight (8) months, it crashed. People didn’t hear much about it, why? We were both mature to understand that we came together, we knew that the thing was not working, instead of us to become enemies we will remain friends, let’s just let it goquietly. And we let it go quietly. I didn’t blame anybody else for doing it, he didn’t blame anybody else for doing it. So I am wondering, two people come together they go their separate ways, this one meets somebody, all of a sudden, it is that somebody that is the problem. Did anybody ever ask, what went wrong? Why would a man pick up his son and walk awayfrom his marriage?
Was there anytime another woman was the problem until the man moved on with another woman? Nobody brought up Stella’s name, then all of a sudden, ‘oh he’s moved on with somebody else (snaps fingers), it must be her’. How? I am still waiting for somebody to come with proof to say ‘oh when they were still in marriage, when they were still in a house, you came and did this.’ So the reason why I don’t like talking about it is that, there are some things I would say to you and you would look at me like ‘oh wow’ but I don’t want to be derogatory, I don’t want to tow the line that other people have towed by talking bad about people.
I would never do that but the stories started coming. At first I ignored it, I just kept quiet, and then it was all over the place, Google, blogs, and I am like, one day, one day, I would tell my story. There’s a reason why I am respecting certain people, respecting certain legal issues that are going on. So there might be some things I may not hammer on, but whenever you hear this person snatched this person’s, you will ask the person, the person that they said was the original owner, what was the person doing when they were snatching the person from him or her? I don’t get it. Do you understand?
So I look at it, I am not ugly, I am not dumb. Of all the men in the world, I will now go and look for somebody else’s own and say this is the one I want. If he didn’t come out of it and say I want to be with you and you want to be with me, how? Why would I come and grab? Am I that bad looking? Am I that old?

I thank God, business has been very good.
What are the challenges in this line of business?
They say every business has its challenges. Presently, for me, there isn’t any challenge I have not been able to handle.
What do you think has kept your business thriving till date?
God first and then the effectiveness of our products, plus our efficient customer service.
How are you able to convince your clients that your products have no adverse effects on the skin?
Many have been using our products for a long time which includes me, and from others who have a little experience in skin care they’re sure of the products, based on the great results they get whenever they use our products.
What has been your ultimate business strategy?
Our ultimate business strategy is research. Along with our research team we always source for the best solution to every skin care issue, so I believe that keeps us on top of our game.
What do you do to keep your clients coming back?
We make sure we help our clients achieve their aim, which is to have a beautiful and a flawless skin.
How much richer has this business made you?
I said in my last interview that we are based on customer satisfaction not profit. Most times, we even bear losses in order to help clients achieve what they really want. But at the end when our client is happy, we know that person would be constant.
How do you handle the criticisms trailing your line of business?
To be honest, the criticisms don’t affect me one bit. I just laugh when people say, oh this person bleaches and all. It’s a matter of choice. One has to do everything possible to make sure they look beautiful, appreciate themselves, and be a king or queen in their own world. We do not just deal on skin lightening alone, we also smoothen skin, clear patches, spots or whatever the embarrassing skin issue is. So, we can make you happy whether you’re a man or woman.
How do you distribute around the world, do you have agents or distributors?
We have a distributor in the US now and also we deliver via courier services abroad.
What are your business plans for the rest of the year?
For the rest of the year we intend to surprise everyone and take them unaware with the new strategies we are working on. Just stay tuned.

He spoke with The Nigerian Tribune, telling them he doesn’t mix making music and women and that the girl in the “Aye” is his makeup artiste, and not his babe as some of you carrying rumour are claiming. . . Enjoy excerpts from the interview below;

“How do you know those people who can compose beautiful songs?
Huh? What do they look like sir? You know people are funny. When they don’t understand you, they come up with stories, with hypothesis. My look has nothing to do with the songs I am capable of writing or singing. God gave me this talent, but it would not have taken me this far if I had not worked hard on it every day and night. For the purpose of setting the records straight, I write my songs myself. I write my songs myself. I have never bought songs from anyone since I started out. I don’t buy songs. The inspiration I get to write my songs comes from God. Like I said, when God is working for you, you don’t ask Him how He does his things.
“Are you thinking of settling down now?
Nah! Not once has the thought crossed my mind. I am not thinking about that just yet my brothers. Settle down? Now? No, no, not now. I am enjoying music right now. Forget about woman for now, ask me about music.
But you have money. That should motivate you enough to get married.
Money is not everything in life. I don’t even think about money. Money is good and it helps you to handle certain things, but money will not get you a good woman, neither can it buy you happiness. I am happy right now loving what I do best; music. If you are going to get a God-fearing woman, you shouldn’t even think about convincing her with money.
Are you saying there is no girl in your life and you did not dedicate the song(Aye) to any girl?
Right now, I am focusing on my music. I don’t want to mix my career with women now. They are two diferent things that you must handle separately and carefully. I am single and I am not even searching. I don’t know about dedicating the song to anybody because it was just a song. never said that nor implied that. What I am just saying is that I am concentrating on my music for now, but then I’m not ruling out women absolutely. I am just waiting for the right time when I will be able to create enough time for that special one. For now, I am dedicating all my time to music and I want to push it to a very meaningful level with the help of God and the support of my record label.
What about the girl in the video, is it true you are dating her?
Now you guys are really sounding funny to me. Haba, Nigerian journalists, you have come again ooo. That girl is my friend. We were not supposed to use her in the video in the first place.What happened was that I wanted to feature the winner of the most beautiful girl beauty pageant in Nigeria in the video, but her manager called few hours to production to say she would not be available for the shoot.
So, who was the girl in the video?
The girl in that video is my friend. She is my make-up artist. I decided to use her because the beauty queen we were supposed to feature was not available. I have already told you that. In her absence was the presence of my make up specialist and we tried her for the slot and she did very well in the video. I am neither dating her nor any other girl as I speak with you. Please, disregard any rumour linking me with any girl right now. If the girl in the video is my girl friend, I won’t denounce her.
